Rocksteady TNT is the recording project of musician Kelly Marshall. She has years of experience in the ska, rocksteady, and reggae scenes in America and is now based in Glasgow, Scotland, UK. Drawing inspiration from traditional Jamaican calypso, ska, rocksteady, reggae, British 2 Tone, and the vibrant revivals of these genres, the project embodies a deep passion for their roots. As a multi-instrumentalist, Kelly primarily plays bass, guitar, and piano/keys, but also enjoys experimenting with instruments such as the mandolin, violin, harmonica, banjo and more. Additionally, the music sometimes incorporates unique sounds from the Balkans and Eastern Europe, often featuring her playing instruments like the accordion, Greek bouzouki and Croatian tambura. Kelly also lends her voice to some tracks.

Since launching Rocksteady TNT in the early 2000s, the project has focused on crafting a fresh and engaging take on the timeless genres it draws from. With a commitment to refining its style, Rocksteady TNT aims to captivate listeners with infectious rhythms and rich musicality, all while celebrating the enduring spirit of ska, rocksteady, and reggae.
